Stardew Valley Community Center Guide: Bundles & Rewards

October 30, 2026 · 5 min read

On this page

Complete the Crafts Room and Boiler Room first, then the Pantry for the Greenhouse, and leave the Vault until you have spare gold. The Community Center works by turning items into rewards through bundles: finish a room's bundles and the Junimos fix something in the valley.

This order is a judgement call, not a rule. Guides disagree on it, and your farm type and goals may justify changing it.

How the Community Center works

Walk into Pelican Town from the Bus Stop between 8am and 1pm on a day without rain, from Spring 5 onward, and Lewis takes you to the old building. A later scene at the Wizard's tower lets you read a strange book, which opens the Crafts Room. More bundles appear as you make donations.

Each bundle wants specific items, sometimes with a choice such as 5 of 9. Finished bundles pay out an item, and a finished room pays a larger reward. Items are consumed, so you need one copy per bundle if an item is used twice.

The alternative is buying a JojaMart membership from Morris for 5,000g. It turns the building into a Joja Warehouse with paid projects, costing 135,000g on top of the membership.

What each room rewards

Room Bundles What completing it does
Crafts Room 6 Repairs the bridge in the mountains
Pantry 6 Restores the Greenhouse
Fish Tank 6 Removes the Glittering Boulder, starting Panning
Boiler Room 3 Repairs the minecarts for fast travel
Bulletin Board 5 Gives 500 friendship points with non-datable villagers you have met
Vault 4 Repairs the bus, opening the Desert

Finishing every room leads to a ceremony. Sources describe the Local Legend achievement and Stardew Hero Trophy as the payoff, and since 1.6 the fish tank in the building works as a real tank. A rainy-night cutscene then reveals the Missing Bundle in the abandoned JojaMart. Its reward is the Movie Theater.

Which bundles to prioritise

Crafts Room first. You have to start here anyway, and most of it is foraging. Construction needs 99 wood twice, 99 stone and 10 hardwood, and Winter Foraging means it cannot finish before winter of year 1.

Boiler Room next. The Blacksmith's bundle needs one Copper, Iron and Gold Bar and pays a Furnace. Geologist's needs four minerals, and Adventurer's needs 2 of 4. Minecarts save real time getting around.

Pantry for the Greenhouse. It takes the longest because of animal products, gold crops and artisan goods, but a greenhouse has no season limit. The crop tables show why year-round Ancient Fruit pays so well.

Bulletin Board for friendship. Chef's and Dye each need all six listed items, and the rest are smaller. Rewards include a Seed Maker, Recycling Machine and Heater.

Fish Tank when fishing is comfortable. Crab Pot is 5 of 10, so it offers some flexibility. Specialty Fish pays 5 Dish O' The Sea.

Vault last. It needs only money, 2,500g, 5,000g, 10,000g and 25,000g for 42,500g total, and it opens after any four other bundles are done. Spending this early slows farm growth.

What to save for bundles

Keep at least one of everything until you have seen the list. Missing a seasonal item can cost a full year, as these do:

Item When to get it Bundle
Parsnip, Cauliflower, Potato, Green Bean Spring Spring Crops
Tomato, Hot Pepper, Blueberry, Melon Summer Summer Crops
Corn, Eggplant, Pumpkin, Yam Fall Fall Crops
Blackberry Fall 8 to 11 Fall Foraging
Fiddlehead Fern Summer Chef's
Catfish Spring or Fall rain River Fish
Eel Spring or Fall rain Night Fishing
Walleye Fall rain Night Fishing
Red Snapper Summer or Fall rain Ocean Fish
Tiger Trout Fall or Winter, 6am to 7pm River Fish
Red Cabbage Year 2 at Pierre's, or Traveling Cart Dye

Each crop bundle takes one of each crop. Quality Crops is more demanding: it asks for gold-star stacks of five, and you pick 3 of 4 between Parsnip, Melon, Corn and Pumpkin. Put fertilizer on those tiles.

Large Milk, Large Egg, Wool and Duck Egg are also worth keeping once you have animals, as they feed the Animal bundle's 5 of 6. Red Cabbage and animal goods are the items most likely to delay a year 1 finish. The first year guide maps out when to pick these up.

Bundle rewards worth knowing

Bundle Reward
Spring Crops 20 Speed-Gro
Summer Crops 1 Quality Sprinkler
Fall Crops 1 Bee House
Quality Crops 1 Preserves Jar
Animal 1 Cheese Press
Artisan 1 Keg
Construction 1 Charcoal Kiln
Exotic Foraging 5 Autumn's Bounty
Geologist's 5 Omni Geode
River Fish 30 Deluxe Bait
Night Fishing 1 Small Glow Ring
Fodder 1 Heater
Enchanter's 5 Gold Bar
25,000g Vault 1 Crystalarium

Item lists and rewards here apply to the standard bundles in 1.6.15. One third-party checklist gives Quality Fertilizer for Summer Crops, while the Stardew Valley Wiki lists the Quality Sprinkler, so the wiki value is used here.

Remixed bundles: the caveat for this list

Remixed bundles are a setting you choose at new game creation under Advanced Options, so an existing save stays on whatever it started with. They mix permanent bundles, which always appear with slightly varied items, and random ones that may or may not show up. Players report replacements such as an Engineer's bundle in place of Blacksmith's, and version 1.6 added more possibilities.

For a Remixed save, trust the bundle screen in your game over any fixed list, including the tables above. Treat the crop and fish checklists as hints at most, and do not assume another player's save matches yours. The wiki's Remixed list shows the same four Vault gold amounts, but check in game.

FAQ

What happens if I pick Joja instead?

The membership replaces the bundles with paid projects, for 140,000g total including the 5,000g fee. The bus alone costs 40,000g versus 42,500g through bundles, but bundles also give you item rewards along the way.

Do bundles need gold-star items?

Among the standard crop bundles, only Quality Crops asks for gold-star produce. The seasonal crop bundles accept lower quality, and Remixed bundles may differ.

What is the Missing Bundle?

It appears after the main restoration, in the abandoned JojaMart. Checklists list it as 5 of 6 among silver-or-better Wine, Dinosaur Mayonnaise, Prismatic Shard, five gold-quality Ancient Fruit, gold-or-better Void Salmon and Caviar. Completing it unlocks the Movie Theater.
